Cara Delevingne awkward interview on Good Day Sacramento.
Five observations from his interview;
- Cara uses a lot of fillers, this maybe to show discomfort or a sense of uncertainty as she's not sure how to respond to the Anchors questions.
- Cara's paralinguistic features where she raises her eyebrows almost in confusion or uncertainty shows she doesn't quite understand or agree with what the Anchor is asking her.
- Cara uses a lot of non-fluency features, such as hesitation, repetition and false starts.
- A lot of sarcasm used, which makes it clear Cara is not agreeing or getting on with the Anchors.
- The paralinguistic feature of laughing shows Cara clearly does not agree with what the Anchor is saying/asking.
Mila Kunis interview where she argues with a Russian reporter.
Five observations from his interview;
- By looking at Mila's paralinguistic features, she is getting clearly annoyed by the reporter.
- The fact Mila is answering in Russian, brings her onto the same level as the reporter, which m makes her seem more intimidating/patronising.
- There is still chaining in the conversations, so Mila is still remaining polite.
- She is asking a lot of questions, or asking them back to the reporter, as if to mock how ridiculous the question is.
- She gets quite defensive, and her paralinguistic features portray this.
